Since 2001, Impact Imports, located in South East Boise, Idaho, has established itself as a business supplying some of the most unique home and garden products in the entire northwest. The owners of the business travel to Indonesia two or three times a year as necessary to find those special pieces which will give impact to their customer's homes and gardens. On a regular basis, Impact Imports receives new shipments from Indonesia "with unique furniture made from reclaimed teak and reclaimed boat wood," said owner Suzanne McDaniel. "We also hunt for and buy some really great architectural elements, hand carved garden stone, home accessories, natural edged wood slabs for kitchen islands, natural edge andesite stone slabs for bar tops, marble and onyx tile and sinks and bathtubs and much more!" In late 2008, Impact Imports received a traditional Javanese house called a Joglo and installed it as part of the shopping environment of their 10,000 square foot showroom.
