This bar top was custom made in Indonesia by one of our many skilled suppliers to the drawings supplied by our customer. It is installed at The Tavern at Bown Crossing in SE Boise, Idaho. The bar owners provided hand drawings and we did the rest! It is made from reclaimed old growth teak railroad ties & it has a natural rustic edge on it. At 3 1/4" thick, this bar top is very solid and it looks great! Customer installed and covered in resin (per health code). |

These pieces of reclaimed old growth teak used to be vertical siding on Indonesian houses. They vary in size, but are typically 8" to 10" wide x 1" to 1 3/6" thick x 6' to 6' 6 3/4" long.  | Teak Wood Slabs
These teak wood slabs are all old growth teak. They are at the Impact Imports warehouse in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and are legal to export as they are reclaimed from fallen trees alongside rivers, on mountainsides, etc. These slabs are difficult to find, but worth the effort. Teak does not absorb water (so it works great in your bathroom as a vanity top or shower bench) and it is termite / bug resistant. These slabs would be terrific as a kitchen island and / or counter tops, a built in desk in your office or as a bar top in a residence or commercial building! |

These teak planks typically measure about 1 3/16" thick x 8" - 10" wide x 6'-6 3/4" long. They are all old growth teak and these particular pieces are from an old commercial building on Madura Island off the NE coast of Java Island in Indonesia. These pieces were used as the ceiling of the building, laying on top of the support beams. Very few have even a nail hole in them. Use them for your next project as flooring, furniture, wainscoting, base board trim, etc. Limited quantities. Not stocked. Order by square footage. Contact Impact Imports for more details.
